The Alexander Technique is well known to musicians worldwide from amateurs to professional performers. It is an essential part of the curriculum of music schools including the Royal College of Music and the Juillard School.

It positively helps to avoid many of the strains and injuries caused by continuous use of one part of the body. People learn how to get the very best out of themselves during times of high demand. As well they learn how to prepare the mind and body for a performance and how to wind down afterwards.

Having trained as a pianist and played all my life, I have an understanding of the needs of a musical life and have enjoyed my experience in working with singers and musicians, seeing the benefits they have gained from learning the Alexander Technique.
